Demanding but generous, quick but incredibly thorough. Max is a charismatic and dedicated instructor who will support your goals in dancing while fostering your growth in skills and maturity.
Originally from Moscow, Max started teaching at the age of 15. He coached beginner dancers and led them to national and international finals. Max has also coached World Junior and Youth Championship finalists.

A true Canadian DanceSport champion, Myriam shows extraordinary attention to details in her coaching.  Myriam is an enthusiastic and committed instructor who always encourages her students to progress and challenge themselves.

Louisa Wang

President
PhD candidate, Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology, University of Toronto
Louisa (L) investigates molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and develops genetically-engineered biotechnology.  L has shared the CRISPR-engineered inducible cell models she developed with researchers around the world, including the lab of a Nobel laureate based in San Francisco.
At school, L is a dedicated leader who founded BLDC, the first Ballroom and Latin Dance Club at the University of Toronto. L also founded MEDStar MCAT, an initiative to make premed education affordable to students. In the community, L is an advocate for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.

Benjamin Piette

Vice President
PhD Candidate, Department of Molecular Genetics, University of Toronto
Benjamin (Ben) characterizes the interactome of each J protein and Hsp70 chaperone to reveal their respective purpose to maintain proteostasis and prevent various neurodegenerative disorders.
In parallel of his research, Ben is involved with the Donnelly Centre Graduate Student Association and the BLDC.
